Warren School Projects Delayed By Rain, Being Wrapped Up
Windows still being replaced at Central School.

Construction on a roof at the Woodland School, and also renovations to an athletic field were delayed by rain this summer, but all school construction projects will be wrapped up soon, Warren Schools Superintendent Tami Crader reported earlier this week.
Crader said that the work on the roof should be finished by end of next week.
Although the field already has been leveled and seeded, it is not ready to be used at this time, Crader told the Board of Education this week.
Work continues on Central School windows
Meanwhile, as expected, the work to replace windows at the Central School continues, the superintendent said.
However, that project, as well as the roof work, will be conducted during non-school hours, she said.
The school district had already appropriated the funds without borrowing before starting the projects, school officials said.
The Central School window project had been awarded to Hahr Construction at $600,000 and the Woodland School roofing project went to VMG Roofing at $1,225,000, according to information from the school district.
