Warren Teen Charlotte Varela Gajewski Pens Children's Book
Charlotte's book, I See You- A True Tale of Two Bunnies, aims to help child victims heal by helping them think positively.

Charlotte Varela Gajewski, a long-time teen volunteer at Deirdre’s House, wants to help child victims process the trauma of their abuse by helping them to look for the bright side of their lives even in times of extreme challenge. She knows the value of being a good friend, and having supportive friendships when things get tough. Charlotte is a talented writer and animal lover. When thinking about how she could help child victims process their trauma in healthy ways, she decided to use her talent for writing to pen a children’s book to help brighten the days of children that find themselves in the darkest of times.
I See You-a True Tale of Two Bunnies, tells the story of two bunnies with two very different lives, each of them happy in their situation and their special friendship. Charlotte hopes that the tale of her two bunnies helps kids look to the positive in life and seek friends that are strong and supportive.
Charlotte wants to pursue a career in education and sociology, with a focus on helping children access academic opportunities that will help them realize their full potential.
