Car Careens Into House After Collision
Three taken to JFK Regional Medical Center after crash.

Three North Plainfield residents were taken to JFK Medical Center Sunday, after the vehicle they were riding in hit another vehicle on Somerset Street, and then crashed into a house.
The accident occurred at about 1:51 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Steven Gordon of Watchung pulled into traffic on Somerset Street from the Getty gas station and hit a vehicle driven by Danley Saguero-Sandoval, of North Plainfield, police said.
After hitting Saguero-Sandoval's vehicle, the vehicle driven by Gordon crossed Somerset Street and hit the front porch of a residence at 990 Somerset St., police said.
Gordon was uninjured in the accident, however, Saguero-Sandoval and two passengers in his vehicle, Gustavo Marroquin and Ceasar Salgure, both of North Plainfield, complained of pains and were taken to the medical center by Watchung Rescue Squad volunteers.
Watchung fire department volunteers also responded, as well as borough employees from the Engineering Department, who inspected the residence to make sure it was safe. After the inspection, the residents were allowed back inside.
