This exhbit provides a great opportunity for children to show their appreciation and love of nature. Educators are asked to set aside some time for a special project in which students can create art expressing their views and appreciation of nature. A variety of media are acceptable, with examples from prior shows including weaving with natural fibers, creating animals out of natural material, plant prints and using natural material for paint and brushes.
The exhibit is open to K-6 students with no more than three or four pieces of artwork submitted for each class. Artwork up to the size 13”x22” is allowed and must present a nature theme. Artwork must be ready for pick up by Dec. 7.
