Millington Bank presents eight scholarships.

Millington Savings Bank has awarded each of eight graduating local high school seniors with a $500 college scholarship.  Students were selected on a variety of criteria, including academic achievement, exemplary participation in extracurricular activities and work experience.  

The students were graduates from the following high schools:  Bridgewater-Raritan, Ridge, Bernards, and Watchung Hills Regional.  Millington Savings Bank President & CEO, Michael A. Shriner, presented the scholarship recipients with their awards during a special luncheon on Wednesday June 12 at the Red Oak Grille in Basking Ridge.

“These students represent the future….a future filled with tremendous promise and achievement,” stated Mr. Shriner.  “Millington Savings Bank is very proud to recognize these very accomplished young adults who no doubt will have great success in their upcoming endeavors.  We wish the very best of luck to these outstanding students.”
