Prosecutor: Somerset County Man Arrested for Child Pornography
The defendant is facing charges of endangering the welfare of a child and possession of child pornography.

A Somerset County man has been arrested for possession of child pornography earlier this week, authorities said.
Seymour Halpern, 60, of Primrose Court, Montgomery Township, was arrested on Tuesday, March 24, after an investigation revealed he was using a computer to store child pornography onto an online cloud storage service registered in his name, according to the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office.
The three-month-long investigation was conducted by detectives of the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. On Tuesday, March 24, Task Force members, with the help of local police, executed a search warrant of Halpern’s home. Authorities seized his computer, which contained images that were uploaded to the cloud storage account in his name, the prosecutor’s office said.
