Watchung Hills' New Superintendent, Scouts Storm Planning Coming This Week
Holiday this week means many will be away—but you'll find these stories and more here.

A new era starts at Watchung Hills Regional High School today, as Elizabeth Jewett takes over as superintendent.
Jewett, an experienced school administrator coming to Watchung Hills from Verona schools steps in as Watchung resident Frances Stromsland steps out—Dr. Stromsland ended her 12-year tenure as superintendent on Friday.
We'll look to introduce Jewett to the community during her first week on the job, and also introduce a group of helpful Scouts, the members of Girl Scout Troop 65474.
The Scout developed a helpful storm preparation website aimed at providing the information residents need to be ready for the next major storm—and the way this summer's going, that could be very soon.
We'll have coverage of these events and more this week on Watchung-Green Brook Patch.
