2 Men Caught In Latest Rash Of Wayne Vehicle Thefts: Police
3 vehicles were stolen and 10 were burglarized recently; they were all unlocked and no sign of forced entry was found, police said.

WAYNE, NJ — Two men were arrested in connection with three motor vehicle thefts and several burglaries from unlocked vehicles that police investigated early Tuesday morning, police said.
Jaquan Foster, 20, and Naquis Green, 19, both of Newark were charged with receiving stolen property and possession of burglary tools, said Detective Capt. Laurence Martin.
Several Wayne police officers were investigating thefts from vehicles and reports of suspicious people on MacDonald Drive, Stonycroft Road, White Oak Lane, and Hamilton Avenue at about 1:40 a.m., Martin said.

Residents reported they saw on their home security system people rummaging through their neighbor's vehicle. They also said people walked up to their house, rang the doorbell, and ran toward Ashwood Lane, Martin said.
Police found one of the three stolen vehicles in Wayne after it crashed and two in Newark. Police also looked for two other vehicles the suspects fled in, Martin said.

Officer Joe Culic saw one of the wanted vehicles on French Hill Road with Foster and Green inside; police found Xanax tablets, a woman's wallet that was taken from an unlocked vehicle, and a key fob to a Jeep vehicle, Martin said.
Foster and Green were also charged with possession of prescription legend drugs. Foster was also charged with driving without a license and possession of drugs in a motor vehicle.
