Cannabis Advocate Opens Dispensary Near Wayne Twp.

Edibles, pre-rolls, and more can be found at the newly opened shop.

LITTLE FALLS, NJ — A businessman with a history of marijuana advocacy has opened his first cannabis dispensary just outside of Wayne in Little Falls.

Mister Jones Cannabis Dispensary, owned by Lerone Jones, opened its doors on Friday. The pot shop is located at 655 US-46, Little Falls Township.

Jones, arrested three times for marijuana in the past, has been an advocate for the legalization of marijuana for adults for years. His new business comes on the heels of the passing of Bill A4151, which “facilitates expanded investment opportunities for diversely-owned businesses in the cannabis industry.”

“I am excited to rejoin Ascend in this new capacity and to continue our shared mission of making cannabis accessible and beneficial for all," said Jones. "I'm passionate about advocating for the power of the plant. This partnership reflects my belief in the potential of this industry to create jobs and stimulate growth in our communities, especially those negatively impacted by the War on Drugs. Together with Ascend, I am eager to establish a retail presence that prioritizes education for our customers."
