All-Clear Issued After Threat At Paterson Charter School: PD

Officials said the investigation is still active and ongoing.

PATERSON, NJ — A bomb and shooting threat caused a Paterson charter school to send students home Thursday morning, according to officials and a report.

According to News 12, the emailed threat came in to College Achieve Paterson Charter High School's campus before 8 a.m.

Students and staff were sent home as law enforcement swept the building, which is right across the street from City Hall, as News 12 reported.

Police issued an all-clear around noon. Officials said the investigation is still active and ongoing, but added there is no threat to the public at this time.
