Another Passaic County Shooting Leaves Man Injured

The shooting is just one of several that have occurred in the area in the last few weeks.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Another shooting in Paterson has left one man injured, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

On Monday, around 5 a.m., Paterson police responded to reports of shots fired near Lakeview and 23rd avenues.

Officials found a 34-year-old Paterson man had been shot in the area. He was taken to St. Joseph's University Medical Center to be treated for non-fatal gunshot wounds, authorities said.

Officials said that the investigation is ongoing, and have not announced any shooting suspects at this time. Authorities have also not released the identity of the victim.
