Dirt Bike Rider Dies In Crash With SUV On Passaic Co. Road: Officials

CLIFTON, NJ — A 24-year-old Passaic man died when the dirt bike he was riding collided with a crossover SUV on Wednesday night, said officials.

The crash happened on April 10, in the area of Lakeview Avenue and East 11th Street in Clifton. The dirt bike operator collided with a Honda CRV around 10:22 p.m. that evening, said Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Clifton Police Chief Thomas Rinaldi.

First responders took the dirt bike driver to Saint Joseph’s University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He has not yet been identified.

Authorities said the driver of the CRV stayed at the scene, and did not mention if they were injured.
