A Fugitive from Justice was arrested in Wayne last Friday after police say he was “running between” the parking lots at Willowbrook Mall.
Special Operation Detectives, who were “conducting safety and security surveillance in the commercial districts” around 6 p.m., decided to interview the man ”due to the amount of car break-in’s and thefts in the area,” Captain Laurence Martin said.
An investigation revealed that James G. Dingle, 52, of Wayne, had two arrest warrants, including a Fugitive from Justice warrant out of Pennsylvania with no bail. The other arrest warrant stemmed from River Vale for $250.
