Funeral Arrangements Announced For Passaic PD Officer Brian Lora
Lora, who worked in the school resource division, died Monday at the age of 29.
PASSAIC, NJ — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Brian Lora, the Passaic City Police officer who died this week at the age of 29.
Mayor Hector C. Lora, his uncle, shared information on a visitation and services set for Sunday and Monday (see below).
A cause of death has not been released for Officer Lora, who started in the department's Uniformed Patrol Bureau and then with the School Resource Division.

"Officer Lora's tenure was marked by unwavering loyalty, exemplary work ethic, fearless commitment to duty, and steadfast adherence to the highest principles of law enforcement," Passaic Police said on Monday afternoon.
Lora is survived by his wife Kimberly, his colleagues, friends, and family.

A visitation on Sunday is marked for family and friends only. Immediate family will gather from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m., with time for family and friends set from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Alvarez Funeral Home (66 Passaic Avenue, Passaic). A last farewell will also take place at 8 a.m. Monday morning.
A funeral Mass is set for Monday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church (101-103 Myrtle Avenue, Passaic). Burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery (2355 Main Avenue, Clifton) at 11 a.m. Then, there will be a repast at Fiesta Restaurant and Lounge (115 President Street, Passaic).
