WAYNE, NJ — Township police are advising residents to be alert and proactive in securing their homes, after an increase of residential burglaries in Wayne.

Officers said homeowners and renters should take precautions to make sure their homes appear occupied, and well-lit.

Police advise residents to be vigilant, and call Wayne PD about any suspicious activity, or about any unfamiliar people or vehicles in their residential neighborhoods.
