Man Kidnapped Teen, Sexually Assaulted Her At Wayne Mall: Prosecutor
A judge ordered the 23-year-old to remain in jail on charges of kidnapping, child endangerment, and sexual assault.
WAYNE, NJ — A Bergen County man is accused of kidnapping a teenager and sexually assaulting her at Willowbrook Mall in Wayne, officials said.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office received a report that a girl between the ages of of 13 and 15 had been sexually assaulted in a "secluded area" of the mall, officials said. The assault was reported just before 11 p.m. on Jan. 11, and officials began their investigation.
Authorities identified 23-year-old Denys Ludisaca of Little Ferry as the suspect, said Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Wayne Police Deputy Chief Joseph Rooney. Officials arrested him on Jan. 16 at Willowbrook Mall.

Ludisaca faces a first-degree kidnapping charge, two second-degree sexual assault charges, and a child endangerment charge.
A judge has ordered Ludisaca to remain in the Bergen County jail while his case progresses.

A first-degree kidnapping conviction carries a sentence of 25 years to life in New Jersey State Prison, subject to a 25-year term of parole eligibility. The sentence for second-degree sexual assault of a victim under 16 years old is five to ten years in prison and the third-degree child endangerment charge could result in another three to five years behind bars, officials said.
If convicted, Ludisaca would face lifetime parole supervision and be required to register as a sex offender under Megan's Law.
