NJ Man Faces 100 Charges After 'Elaborate' Amazon Delivery Scam, Cops Say
Police said the man used fake ID documents and disguises to take packages from an Amazon fulfillment center in this "elaborate" scam.
PASSAIC, NJ — A North Jersey man faces dozens of burglary charges after operating an "elaborate" scheme to steal items from an Amazon fulfillment center, according to officials.
The Passaic resident took over $192,000 worth of products, police in Monroe Township said.
Officials charged Aneury Castillo-Blanco with 95 counts of burglary after a months-long investigation, police said Thursday. The 34-year-old also faces four impersonation charges and a theft by deception charge.

Castillo-Blanco used fake ID documents and disguises to run several fake Amazon delivery routes, police said. He would pick up packages from an Amazon fulfillment center and then store them in a Middlesex County storage unit, according to officials.
He has since been released from the Middlesex County jail, records show.
