Preschool Placement Requests Open At Wayne Early Childhood Center
This opportunity is open to parents and guardians interested in enrolling their children in the Preakness ECC next school year.
WAYNE, NJ — Parents who want to enroll their soon-to-be-preschoolers at the Preakness Early Childhood Center in Wayne may begin submitting placement requests online, which is the first step to enrolling next year.
Children must be three years old by Oct. 15, 2024 to register for the 2024/35 school year. Click here to access the placement request form.
The preschool center offers three-day and five-day programs with morning, afternoon, and all-day sessions. Class sizes are limited, and enrollment is on a first-come, first-serve basis depending on availability. Enrollment is available to parents outside Wayne Township, but township residents will get priority.

Once the placement request is received, parents/guardians will be contacted by email within five to 10 business days with availability. If an opening is not available, there is the option to be placed on a waitlist, which does not guarantee enrollment.
"We look forward to welcoming our youngest learners to the Preakness Early Childhood Center and embarking on a journey of learning and growth together," the district said.
