
WAYNE, NJ —Reloaderz shooting range is open.
The range is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday and noon to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
People with a valid driver's license can rent firearms to use at the facility after watching a safety video and if they have someone with them.

The state-of-the-art gun range will have 15, 25-yard long shooting stalls and separate spaces for private events and classes. Annual memberships cost between $299 to $2,499. (See related: Want To Join Reloaderz's Shooting Range? Here's What It Will Cost)
The Planning Board approved the project in September 2017. The interior of the 13,800-square-foot facility will also feature a retail section and restrooms, along with office space.

Fuddruckers was on the 1.6-acre property for years until it closed in 2014. A restaurant and bar briefly opened there, but that business eventually closed as well. The building was vacant until Reloaderz came along. A Starbucks with a drive-thru window will be built next to the gun range, where the former Monarch Diner was.
Gun ranges have become a hot-button issue in North Jersey since 2016.
Gun for Hire in Woodland Park spent $12 million to expand from 16,000 square feet to 55,000, NorthJersey.com reported. A 24-year-old man shot himself at the range in July 2016, the report said. A Garfield man shot himself there that May.
The Ramsey Planning Board was considering an application for a 60,000-square-foot facility with 67 firing stalls, a restaurant, locker rooms and a game room. The application was later withdrawn.
