Teen Hospitalized After Weekend Shooting: Passaic Prosecutor
Officials did not release any suspect information after a shooting Friday night that injured a 16-year-old.
PATERSON, NJ — A 16-year-old is recovering after being shot in Paterson on Friday evening, officials said.
Officers were called to the reported shooting just after 5 p.m. near the intersection of Market Street and East 19th Street, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and city police.
The teen sustained non-fatal gunshot wounds, and first responders transported them to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson.

Officials said the investigation is active and ongoing, and that more information will be released once it becomes available.
