Jeffery Amoscato, vice president of supply chain and menu innovation for Shake Shack, and a township native, said it is "special" to finally open a Shake Shack in town. His passion for food started when he was 7 at his aunt's cooking school, Adventures in Cooking, in Wayne.

The restaurant will donate 5 percent of sales from the Pie Oh My custard to The Jillian Fund, a nonprofit that helps families and children battling life-threatening illnesses.
