Yard House Restaurant Opening At Wayne's Willowbrook Mall

WAYNE, NJ — The Yard House is coming to the Willowbrook Mall.

The Planning Board approved the national chain's application at a meeting Monday night. It is slated to open sometime in late fall or early winter this year.

The chain restaurant bills itself as having the world's largest selection of draft beers. More than 100 beers are listed on its website in 12 different categories. The large menu includes burgers, steaks, chicken, salads, and several dessert options.

Several entrees were recently added to the chain's menu, Daily Breeze reported, including:

• The Filet and White Cheddar Melt, which has onion strings, arugula, house-made steak sauce, and garlic aioli
• Abuela's Chicken with roasted pasila chilies and spicy rice
• Pork Belly Banh Mi: A Vietnamese-style sandwich with siriracha aioli

The restaurant is the latest business to come to Willowbrook.

A P.F. Chang's opened in Willowbrook's Bloomingdale's wing last month and a Dave & Buster's opened a year ago. A Buffalo Wild Wings and a 12-theater Cinemark movie theater is slated to open at the mall soon.

"I am happy that Willowbrook Mall has transitioned itself into more of a destination, where people can shop at many stores, enjoy a wide variety of food choices and, with the addition of Dave & Busters and the Cinemark theater, enjoy entertainment for the entire family," Mayor Chris Vergano said.
