1 Dead In West Deptford NJ Turnpike Single-Vehicle Crash
A Virginia woman died Sunday during an early morning crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said.
WEST DEPTFORD, NJ - A Virginia woman died Sunday during an early morning crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, authorities said.
The crash was reported around 3:51 a.m. on the turnpike southbound at milepost 18.5 in West Deptford, New Jersey State Police Trooper Brandi Slota told Patch.
An initial investigation found that a Ford Explorer was traveling southbound near milepost 18.5 when it struck a guardrail on the right side of the turnpike.

As a result of the crash, the passenger of the Ford, identified as Kayla Rodriguez, 26, of Falls Church, V.a., sustained fatal injuries.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
