An Atlantic County man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend in her home before killing himself, authorities said.
DEPTFORD, NJ - An Atlantic County man fatally shot his ex-girlfriend in her home before killing himself, authorities said.
Following a well-being check on Monday evening, Deptford police found the bodies of Erin A. Gatier, 47 and her ex-boyfriend, William W. Beattie, also 47, of Buena, deceased inside the residence, the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office said.
An investigation conducted by Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes and Crime Scene Units found that Beattie forced entry inside Gatier’s Ogden Road home, where he shot and killed his ex-girlfriend before committing suicide.
