2012 National Night Out Highlights Busy Wednesday at RiverWinds

Storms wiped out National Night Out two weeks ago, and the annual event will now be part of three events at Wednesday night.

The annual event, sponsored by the township, the police department and the West Deptford Municipal Alliance, kicks off the night at 6 p.m., followed by an ice cream social and Gloucester County's Night at the Movies series, with a showing of The Smurfs at 8 p.m.

National Night Out will feature a K-9 demonstration by the Gloucester County Police K9 Association, as well as fire and EMS displays and activities and giveaways.
