Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill And Steakhouse Opening Location in Woodbury

WOODBURY, NJ — Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill and Steakhouse is opening a location at 111 North Broad Street on April 18 in Woodbury, the city's mayor told Patch.

The restaurant’s opening will bring new life to a beloved place for many residents, Peg Sickel, Woodbury Mayor, also wrote in her December newsletter.

“The empty building on Broad Street was a somber reminder to our residents of the loss of one of our beloved restaurant locations,” she wrote. “Woodbury residents would reach out to the owners on their website to tell their own stories of special events that took place in those walls.”

The history of the building goes back even further than current generations, Sickel added, noting that it may have been a stop on the Underground Railroad.

The only other Charlie Brown’s Fresh Grill and Steakhouse is in Scotch Plains, according to the restaurant’s website.
