The seventh annual event takes place at Friendship Fire Company and Christ Church in Woodbury this weekend.

Firefighters from around Gloucester County will gather for a processional and annual blessing of the fire trucks at the seventh observance of the Feast of St. Florian, the patron saint of firefighters, at Christ Church in Woodbury this weekend.

The festivities begin at 5 p.m. on Sunday, May 6 along Delaware Street, where fire trucks from companies around the county will be on display.

The fire trucks will be blessed at the end of the display, and a procession will go from the Friendship Fire Station to Christ Church, as firefighters in full dress uniform will march along with the Emerald City Pipes-and-Drums Corps, as well as clergy and a choir, down to Christ Church for the celebration.
