Man In Cop Costume Arrested After Altercation Outside NJ Halloween Party: Police
The man became disorderly after he was denied entry to a Halloween party, authorities said.
GLASSBORO, NJ — A man wielded a knife after he wasn't allowed inside a Halloween party in South Jersey, authorities said. He was dressed as a police officer.
John Bekhet tried to get into a Halloween party around 1:50 a.m. Friday on the 300 block of N Main Street in Glassboro. When he was denied, he took out a knife and made threats, according to Glassboro Police.
The incident was reported to police. Minutes later, actual officers in the area saw a man — later identified as Bekhet — who matched the suspect description.

Bekhet, 19, of Staten Island, New York, was detained after trying to run away, police said.
Police say they recovered the knife Bekhet wielded during the altercation.

Bekhet was charged with terroristic threats, weapons offenses, obstruction, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was placed in the Salem County Correctional Facility, which provides jailing services for Gloucester County.
Attorney information for Bekhet wasn't immediately available in online court records.
