Man Killed After Vehicle Drifts Across Highway, Hits Tree In South Jersey: Police
His vehicle ran through the lanes on the other side of the highway before crashing, authorities said.
LOGAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man was killed in a crash after his vehicle ran off Interstate 295 in Gloucester County on Saturday, authorities said.
State troopers reported to the crash site at 12:18 p.m. in Logan Township. They identified the victim as Michael J. Forde, 63, of Carneys Point.
Forde was driving north on I-295 when his Pontiac passenger vehicle ran off the road to the left, crossed over the southbound lanes, and hit a tree, according to State Police. His injuries were fatal.
