Report: Red Bank Run Restricts Children's Games—Your Thoughts?
Red Bank Run revamped rules about what outdoor activities children can do at the complex. Is management right or going too far?

We've all heard of helicopter parenting, but helicopter apartment management? That's how an ABC 6 report on Red Bank Run's new rules for children's games sounds.
The management company recently instituted restrictions on what games kids can play outside on the complex property. Gone are bike riding, basketball and scooters, all deemed too dangerous, the ABC report says. In its segment, ABC news shows children playing around the complex, some in parking lots.
The kids are relegated to a playground in the rear of the complex, where they can play ball. But parents said that playground draws older kids and is dangerous for the younger ones.

It's not fair, the kiddos say—even offering up that they don't want to be inside playing video games. "It's not good for our bodies," one says. "It's not good for our freedom," another boy pipes up.
Red Bank Run's management wasn't available to comment, according to ABC 6.
