RiverWinds Hosting Free Blood Pressure Screenings Tuesday
West Deptford residents and RiverWinds members can have their blood pressure and blood glucose checked for free tomorrow in the lobby.

West Deptford residents will have to opportunity to receive free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings on Tuesday morning and evening at the RiverWinds Community Center.
Underwood Memorial Hospital staff will conduct the screenings for any township resident or RiverWinds member.
Hospital staff will be set up in the lobby for two separate sessions. The first is 9-11 a.m. The evening session will take place from 6 to 8 p.m.

February is designated as American Heart Month. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention encourages people to monitor their blood pressure at home in addition to having it tested at their physician's office. The CDC said that heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death in the United States among both men and women.
