West Deptford Eagles XC Showing Strength Early

The West Deptford boys cross-country team is establishing itself early on as a power in the Colonial Conference for 2013.

The West Deptford boys cross-country team have started off the season with incredible momentum.

The Eagles took two out of three at a home meet against Haddon Township, Lindenwold and Sterling. Haddon Township walked away with a win, but by only three points over the Eagles. 

On Saturday, the Eagles took home second-place honors at the Group II Briarwood Invitational. Five of the seven Varsity runners placed in the top 25, bringing home a personal trophy. As a team, all seven brought home a medal and a plaque for the school.

During the freshman race, Ryan Zuzulock placed in the top 15 to bring home a personal trophy.
