West Deptford Wrestlers Take Team Title at Marinelli Tournament
The team placed seven wrestlers in the top three in their weight classes.
Eagles wrestlers are coming home with a bunch of new hardware, after taking the team title and two individual crowns at the Arthur Marinelli Tournament at Egg Harbor Township High School Thursday.
West Deptford edged out Clearview for the overall title, despite the Pioneers taking four individual titles on the night.
For the Eagles, Evan Zuzulock took gold at 120 pounds and Rory Bonner won the 182-pound title. Gerald (Towns) Owens was second at 220, falling to Schalick's Nick Pustizzi, and David Branco was second at heavyweight, losing out to Holy Spirit's Dom LaFragola.
