63 Latin Students At Westfield High School Win Awards On National Exam

Sixty-three Westfield High School students earned a variety of awards and recognitions at all four levels of the National Latin exam.

Sixty-three Westfield High School students earned a variety of awards and recognitions at all four levels of the National Latin exam this year. A total of 116 students from Westfield High School took the 2015 National Latin Exam among thousands of students from all 50 states and a number of countries worldwide. Earning the awards are :

Westfield High School Latin teacher, James Rowan and Barbara Bair, are very happy with the results. “We’re pleased to see that Westfield students have earned awards in great numbers and at all levels,” they agreed. “The students should be proud of their achievements and of the hard work in preparation for the exams.”

David Greer, District Supervisor of World Languages, added “We are always extremely proud of the hard work that our students put into learning Latin, and appreciate the dedication of our Latin teachers. These wonderful awards serve as a way to recognize our students for their excellent achievements.”
