The Baked Bear To Host Grand Opening Of 1st Northern NJ Ice Cream Shop In Westfield

The first 100 people in line will receive free ice cream sandwiches during the grand opening on Saturday.

WESTFIELD, NJ — The Baked Bear, a San Diego, California-based custom ice cream sandwich shop, is holding its grand opening for its first northern New Jersey and Union County location in Westfield.

The Westfield shop will open on Saturday, Feb. 22 at noon at 18 Elm St., which was previously home to Cinnaholic. This would be The Baked Bear's first Union County location and fifth in New Jersey.

During the grand opening, the first 100 people in line will receive free ice cream sandwiches.

The ice cream shop is known for its monstrous ice cream sandwiches with more than a dozen baked-from-scratch cookies and ice cream flavors. Guests get a chance to mix and match cookies or brownies for their top and bottom while choosing their favorite ice cream in the middle.

Other New Jersey locations include Asbury Park, a food truck in the Jersey Shore, Long Branch, and a location coming soon in New Brunswick.
