Burglar Used Ladder, Ransacked 2nd Floor Bedroom in Westfield: Police

On Oct. 1, Westfield Police received a call about a burglary on the 700 block of West North Avenue.

It was just after 9:30 p.m. when police say the resident returned home to find his second-floor master bedroom ransacked. It appeared the unknown suspect(s) used a latter to get to the bedroom’s window and upon entering, they took multiple pieces of jewelry, according to TAP into Westfield.
