Amateur Astronomers, Inc. Proudly Presents
The Hunt for Life on Mars
John Fontana
NASA Solar System Ambassador
Humanity is fascinated with the possibility of finding life on Mars. It is known that Mars was once more earthlike, and there are tantalizing clues that water may still exist there. Theories even suggest that life traveled from Mars and seeded the Earth.
Following the presentation, join us at the William Miller Sperry Observatory for refreshments and the chance to look through two of the largest amateur telescopes in the North East (weather permitting).
Sperry Observatory is open to the public every Friday evening, clear or cloudy, between 7:30 and 10:30 pm for an informal talk and observing.
AAI has been bringing the night sky to the public for 75 years.
