Kean Jr. Declared Victor Over Altman In District 7 Race: AP Reports

DISTRICT 7, NJ — Republican incumbent Tom Kean Jr. was declared victorious for re-election in the Congressional District 7 race against Democrat Sue Altman, according to the Associated Press.

Kean declared victory earlier last night during a Watch Party in Basking Ridge and Altman conceded during her watch party in Bridgewater, according to nj.com.

Kean Jr. has served as Congressman for District 7 since winning the election in November 2022 over then-incumbent Democrat Tom Malinowski.

District 7 covers all of Hunterdon County, and parts of Essex, Morris, Somerset, Union, and Warren counties.

Here are the real-time unofficial results for District 7. According to the Associated Press, 90 percent of the votes have been counted. Results will be updated throughout the night (Check back with Patch as results come in):
