Downed Tree On Route 22, Lane Closed In Union County
Gusty winds are expected for the remainder of the day on Monday in Union County.
MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ— A downed tree is being reported on Route 22 East in Union County on Monday.
The tree is located on the eastbound side just east of Glenside Avenue in Mountainside, according to 511nj.org as of 1:42 p.m.
As a result, one right lane of two lanes is closed.

Gusty winds are expected for the remainder of Monday. Currently, the weather is mostly clear, with a low around 41.
A west wind of 12 to 17 mph is expected to decrease to 6 to 11 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.
