Fire At Nail Salon In Westfield Tuesday Morning: Report

WESTFIELD, NJ — A fire broke out at Nail Spa & Beyond in Westfield on Tuesday morning, according to Westfield's fire chief who spoke to Tapinto.

Firefighters were quickly able to maintain the blaze, which started at around 4 a.m. in the rear room of the salon.

Fire chief Michael Duelks told Tapinto that in the storage room where the blaze happened, firefighters found a bed and table with nail removing fluid. However, he said the cause of the fire is still undetermined at this time.

As of Tuesday, the salon remain closed, as fire officials waited on the health department to determine if the building could open, according to Tapinto.
