$20K Grant, Financial Planning Resources To Benefit Union County Youth

Workshops on how to build for future success and one-on-one sessions will be held for children and families.

UNION COUNTY, NJ — The Boys & Girls Clubs in New Jersey are holding financial empowerment resources and courses across the state, including in Union County.

Along with a $20,000 grant from Citizens Bank, the partnership will also bring representatives to different Clubhouses in Newark, Garfield, Monmouth County. The informal, conversation-based approach to growing wealth is designed to help families make better decisions for their long-term success, Boys & Girls Clubs of New Jersey said.

"When we strengthen the financial well-being of our famlies, we strengthen the foundation that supports every Club member," added State Director Susan Haspel.
