Kent Place Students From Westfield Recognized By College Board

Kent Place students from Westfield were awarded with AP Scholars distinctions.

Kent Place School seniors (pictured l-r) Halle O’Hern and Madeline Reynolds of Westfield have been honored by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement (AP) Examinations taken last spring.

O’Hern was named an AP Scholars with Honor. The award of AP Scholar with Honor is granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

Reynolds was named an AP Scholar. The award of AP Scholar is granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher (on a scale of 1 to 5) on three or more AP Exams.

In 2015, Kent Place had a total of 93 students recognized by the College Board for demonstrated excellence on AP exams. Kent Place School is an independent, nonsectarian, college-preparatory day school, which for over 100 years has provided a superior education for young women who demonstrate strong scholastic and creative ability.
