MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ — A large sinkhole and water main leak caused Summit Road to remain closed in Mountainside on Tuesday.

Summit Road will remain closed for an extended period on Tuesday as crews work to repair a water main leak and large sinkhole near the intersection of Charles Street, said police in an alert.

Drivers should plan an alternate route of travel.
