Letter: Westfield Community Invited To Dance Marathon
It will be 5 hours of raffles, games, food, dancing and a lot of fun! All funds raised will be donated to Children's Specialized Hospital.

Dear Westfield Community,
On behalf of the Westfield High School Community Service Club, we would like to invite all Westfield School District students, parents, and staff to join us in our inaugural Dance Marathon at Westfield High School on Friday, May 19, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.!
It will be 5 hours of raffles, games, food, dancing, fundraising, and a lot of fun! All funds raised will be donated to Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside to support kids with special needs and their families.

We are opening this event up to all Westfield students, with the goal of raising at least $5,000. To raise money we are counting on fundraising teams and individuals to gain sponsorships from family and friends! These teams can be of any age combination — members of a high school sports team, an intermediate-school club, an elementary-school friend group, or any other combination of friends. They also can be students from different schools — for example, if a WHS student wanted to start a fundraising team with some elementary-school students that would be fabulous as well.
If a team raises over $50 through sponsorships, they will be invited to our dance for free and will receive a T-shirt! (All teams must raise at least $10 per member.) If one prefers not to do the team and sponsorship aspect of the dance, we invite you to come and pay a $10 fee at the door. If your group raises the most funds a prize will be awarded!
