“It is an extreme honor to receive the Charles Philhower Fellowship Award,” Thompson said after being told he was going to be receiving the fellowship. “I am grateful to the Westfield Rotary for their recognition. It is a privilege to have been given the opportunity to help students learn how to think critically about the world around them.”
“I am fortunate to be amongst the most amazing array of individuals anyone could ever ask for here at Jefferson Elementary,” Thompson continued. “This is the root of any success I have achieved. They are my support system, and without them none of this would have been possible. I am humbled and overwhelmed.”
