Lots Of New Businesses Coming To Downtown Westfield Soon
Mayor Shelley Brindle shared several new restaurants and businesses that are opening up over the next few months. Check them out below:

WESTFIELD, NJ — Many residents have spoken out about the large amount of vacancies in downtown Westfield, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic.
But Mayor Shelley Brindle said many of these vacancies will soon be filled, as several businesses are coming to Westfield in the next few months.
Here's a list of some of the new businesses Westfield residents can look forward to:

- Reves Smoothie Café— a smoothie and juice bar to open on Quimby Street
- La Bendita NJ — a Mexican restaurant on Quimby Street (read more: La Bendita Brings Authentic Mexican Cuisine To Westfield This Summer)
- An expanded Akai Lounge - Westfield — a Japanese restaurant with a bar on Elm Street
- Kirsh Baking Company — hand-baked cookies and treats on Elm Street
- Francis Henri — infant clothing store on East Broad Street
- Chutzpah Kitchen — Middle Eastern food on East Broad Street (read more: This Restaurant Coming To Westfield Sure Has Some Chutzpah)
- German Doner Kabob GDK UK — German kabobs on East Broad Street
- Gong Cha — bubble tea on East Broad Street
- Mochimoly Donuts — mochi donuts and hot dogs on East Broad Street
Many of these stores are also located in other nearby towns. Gong Cha and Mochimoly Donuts are recent additions to downtown Millburn, and Chutzpah Kitchen also has a location in Maplewood.
