Middlesex County Teenager Shot and Killed in Union County, Reports Say

Reports say a 17-year-old Piscataway boy was shot and killed outside of a convenience store in Plainfield early Sunday morning.

Reports say a 17-year-old Piscataway boy was shot and killed outside of a convenience store in Plainfield early Sunday morning.

Kyle Winkley was pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick afterhe was found with several gunshot wounds on the 1300 block of West Third Street, according to nj.com.

The shooting is under active joint investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office’s Homicide Task Force and the Plainfield Police Division.

An autopsy of the victim is scheduled to take place today, Monday Sept. 1, according to My Central Jersey.
