Police Investigate Death of 18-Month-Old Boy in Roselle Park: Report

What was initially reported as a ”pediatric drowning” has led to an investigation by the Roselle police and the Union County Prosecutor’s Office into the death of an 18-month-old boy on Monday.

Reports say police arrived to a home on the 500 block of West Seventh Avenue around 8:45 p.m. and found the child “unresponsive.” The child was pronounced dead at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth shortly after 10 p.m. and TAP into Westfield reports two juveniles were questioned regarding the incident.
