Register Now for Westfield Area YMCA Youth Basketball Leagues

The Westfield Area YMCA offers Winter Basketball Leagues to young athletes in Kindergarten through 2nd grade. These co-ed, instructional leagues teach the fundamentals of the sport and build upon key skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship. These leagues are a great opportunity for kids to grow athletically and socially, making new friends and gain confidence on the court.

Winter Youth Basketball Leagues run January-February at the Westfield Area YMCA Main Facility and the Robert & Virginia Bauer Branch in Westfield. Kindergarten and 1st grade leagues introduce the basics of basketball, while the 2nd grade league incorporates structured gameplay and defense drills that allow athletes to adapt to the game's flow.

Registration is open now and will close once capacity is reached or on the season's start date (January 4). League schedules will be available once registration ends. Registration can be completed online or at the Main Y Facility Welcome Center, 220 Clark Street in Westfield.
