Road Paving Will Impact Several Westfield Streets: Find Out Below

Elizabethtown Gas's paving contractor is working on resurfacing many roads in Westfield starting this week. See the affected roads below:

WESTFIELD, NJ — Elizabethtown Gas's paving contractor, Atlantic Infrastructure, will soon begin resurfacing roads in Westfield, according to an announcement from the town.

Milling and paving is expected to begin as early as Wednesday, June 29. Notices have been distributed to affected homes on the following streets:

  • Dorian Road (Trinity Place to Westfield Ave)
  • Stoneleigh Park (entire length)
  • Shackamaxon Drive (Rahway to Westfield Ave)
  • Washington Street (Rahway to Summit)
  • Westfield Avenue (Dorian to Washington)
  • Everson Place (entire length)
  • Beechwood Place (entire length)

Additional roads that will follow in the coming weeks are listed below. The town said notices will be distributed in these areas by Atlantic Infrastructure prior to the work commencing.

  • Kimball Avenue (Baker to Kimball Turn)
  • Canterbury Road (entire length)
  • Canterbury Lane (entire length)
  • Winyah Avenue (Canterbury Lane to Linden)
  • Jefferson Ave (dead end to Saunders)
  • Linden Avenue (entire length)
  • Baker Avenue (Oak to Winyah)

All work is weather permitting, and the town will post updates on the work schedule on Westfield's website, as well as on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @TownofWestfield.
